How To Get The Effigy Pendant From The Wooden Box In Remnant 2

There's an odd Quest Item in Remnant 2 called the Wooden Box. It seems unassuming, but there's a powerful item inside: the Effigy Pendant.

In Remnant 2, amulets are accessories that provide a variety of benefits, such as increased damage, quicker reload speed, and damage reduction. Certain examples even enhance your stats, like Endurance or Vigor. These amulets can be acquired through different methods and give you an advantage when dealing with enemies and confronting bosses.

You might come across amulets as random drops from certain enemies, solving puzzles, or completing quests. One interesting yet hard-to-find amulet is the Effigy Pendant which could be useful during your time playing Remnant 2.

In order to locate the Effigy Pendant, you might need to invest some time as its location spawns in a randomly generated spot.

First, make sure you are in Losomn and have access to one of these locations:

Since there is no specific indicator to know if you have the secret passage needed to get this amulet, you will just have to explore these two locations thoroughly.

What you are looking for is an entrance on the wall that's hidden by a blocked wooden plank with a red barrel next to it. Refer to the picture below for reference.

This hidden path doesn't show up every time, and you can only find either this one or the one leading to the Twisting Wounds Mutator.

Once you've found the entrance, shoot the wooden plank and proceed ahead. You'll come across a ladder that leads to the rooftop

You'll know you're in the right place when you spot several ravens scattered around. After you make it to the top, jump across to the nearby rooftop to access a hidden area.

Follow the main path, and you'll come across a purple-glowing item ahead of you. However, don't go there just yet.

The purple-glowing item you saw earlier is the Cleansing Stone amulet.

Instead, look to your left for a small room and inside, you will find a Quest Item named Wooden Box.

While you may not know what to do with this Wooden Box, the secret here is to inspect it from the inventory.

While rotating the box, you'll receive a prompt to interact with it; upon doing so, the box will open, and you'll acquire the Effigy Pendant.

The Effigy Pendant is an amulet that focuses on upgrading your Grey Health. When it occurs, it offers a 15 percent boost to all damage, a ten percent reduction in damage, and an extra hit before Grey Health is taken away.
